had a lovely two-night stay at gretna hall. the breakfast was decent but timing is key to getting it hot. the location was perfect for a getaway, and the staff were super hospitable, really making us feel at home. definitely a highlight was the fantastic dinner, which was served beautifully.

the gardens surrounding our hotel were lovely and perfect for a leisurely stroll, and it was just a short walk to the famous blacksmiths shop, making our weekend exploration incredibly convenient and enjoyable. as a single traveler, I appreciated the comfy cosy double room, which was just right for my solo adventures.

Had a fantastic group getaway! Enjoyed the cozy double room with a double bed and sofa bed. Visited nearby attractions and had a blast at the Dance Through the Decades disco event. The lively atmosphere and tasty meals made it memorable for all of us.

One downside was the noise from the road outside. It made it tough to get a good night's sleep, especially when we wanted to keep the window open for some fresh air.
